So, I posted about my first Suns game. It was a lot of fun! The atmosphere, music, fans, etc. were great.
Well, I've been to 2 Jazz games in the past week. The atmosphere just doesn't compared. And I'm not just saying that because I'm somewhat partial to the Suns. The person in-charge of the music needs to get with the 21st century. The game soundtrack consists of "Mexican Hat Dance", "Charge!", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and any other song that is usually played by an organ. My friend described it as "circus music". There are clean, energetic, hip songs out there. I should make the director a cd and send it to him. Putting the poor music choices aside, the basketball games are very fun to watch. I wish the Jazz the best in this season.I do want to give props to BYU's music director. I went to the BYU vs. Utah game last night. (Oh man, it was intense. Go Cougars!) Kanye, Beyonce, and P. Diddy were played. I couldn't believe that I did not hear one Kelly Clarkson song. Oh, and the people in-charge of the opening line-up thing did an awesome job. The lights were dimmed, huge screens were brought down, and an arousing video was played. I hope the Cougars keep up their amazing season!
