If Jennifer ever offers to fold your laundry, just let her. If you don't, she may tackle and do other unexpected things to you. Just a typical night in 405. (Daniel heard A LOT of laughter from the kitchen, so he grabbed the camera because he knew something good was happening.)
Or are the male figure skaters' costumes getting too noticeable because of their brightly colored, highly patterned, and unusual styles? I found pictures of a few of my favorites from last night. I didn't even touch the pairs. One of the many reasons I love the Olympics.
Besides showing some chest, I thought guys weren't supposed to show other skin.
What a stance and haircut!
Really?! Feathers on the wrists?
Wow, a pink tassel! The commentator said that Johnny told her that he "rocked the tassel".
This is how they should be dressed. Thank you, Kurt.
Breanne taught me how to make a flower headband. I felt very domestic. It's been a long time since I've done anything like that. I used to make things for my American Girl doll all the time, but that creativity left me. Maybe I'll start reviving it...
This week in math, my class has been learning about repeating and growing patterns. To reinforce the concept and to add some kinesthetic learning, Danika and I thought it'd be fun to teach our classes a line dance. It turned out to be a blast! I'd say 55 out of the 60 kids loved it. I wish I had video of the event. There's nothing like learning with a little Brooks & Dunn to help out.
These past few mornings it has been an extreme struggle to make my bed. As I'm tucking the sheet and bedspread in, I can feel the warmth I left just a few minutes ago. I want to hop right back in for a couple more hours. I don't think my kids will notice if I show up in my pjs or with my hair going every which way.
