School Picture

No matter how old you are, it still looks like a school picture.
2000
On the envelope, it says, "If this face is special today, imagine how special it will be 10 years from now!" Well, here it is 10 years later...
2010
Thanks Lifetouch for "memories that last a lifetime."

Let's hear it for the Finks!

Double overtime. Oh man, it was epic.
And the team wouldn't be possible without this chica. Coach. Shredder. Kate.
Semifinals here we come!

Charlotte came for a visit

An old friend stopped by the other morning. I thought I (well, Moss) killed it a week ago. I had to kill this spider by myself. I hated it. I think I stood with the tennis shoe in hand for 5 minutes before I took a whack.

I finished this quilt last week. I started it over the summer, and every time I've been with my mom, I've worked on it. I love quilting. I think Whitney has received it; just in time for her baby. I can hardly wait to see pictures of the sweet baby girl!
Happy Veterans Day! I wish my family still had my gramp's WWII locker; some lucky person found it at DI. Inside were pictures from when he and his troop emancipated a concentration camp. Also inside was his uniform and bronze star. Anyway, thank you to all the soldiers!

Where the phertghergh did October go?

First off, I need to apologize to the five readers of this blog. I'm sorry that I only posted 2 times last month.

Man, October flew by. It was a very crazy month. This is what happened: my birthday, family in town, moved apartments, (If you know of anyone that's moving to Provo and needs a place to live, contact me!), Fall Break, Rat Finks' games, gym classes, a niece born, end of term at school, quick weekend at home in Arizona, Halloween, reading a ridiculously good and intriguing book (The Help), and completing quilts.

Wow. Here's the month in pictures.

Birthday celebration at Diego's. Unfortunately, these are not victory smiles. Just birthday and good food smiles.
Witches' Night Out at Gardner Village
Ward Halloween Party (my new roommates--Megan & Benita)
Played in a complete blizzard. Notice the runny mascara and wet clothes.
(I look 500 lbs. heavier than I really am.)
Sweet Annika Kay Phelps (Marci's girl)

Tournament Game
Listening to coach

Holla!! Victory!! 19-18.
Sisters
(You probably think that all I wear is my Rat Finks shirt.)
We were a little crazy after the game.

I guess I need to say, "Happy November!"

**For those of you who don't know the word "phertghergh", it's read "fert".
