An old friend stopped by the other morning. I thought I (well, Moss) killed it a week ago. I had to kill this spider by myself. I hated it. I think I stood with the tennis shoe in hand for 5 minutes before I took a whack.
I finished this quilt last week. I started it over the summer, and every time I've been with my mom, I've worked on it. I love quilting. I think Whitney has received it; just in time for her baby. I can hardly wait to see pictures of the sweet baby girl!
Happy Veterans Day! I wish my family still had my gramp's WWII locker; some lucky person found it at DI. Inside were pictures from when he and his troop emancipated a concentration camp. Also inside was his uniform and bronze star. Anyway, thank you to all the soldiers!

Oh, that spider looks so terrible! I found its cousin crawling in my bed the other day when I was changing our sheets. GROSS. The quilt is so cute!
You're gonna die when I tell you that it took me 3 minutes to figure out who Charlotte was! I was thinking, why did she put that in the title? I don't see any pictures of her and her friend that visited. Then the light bulb finally came on and I realized just what you meant by Charlotte. : ) GO ME! I'll blame it on the pregnant brain : )
SB. I had spiders like that in my room in Chicago and I did the same thing (stand there holding my shoe) until my mom suggested a brilliant idea. Just get an aerosol can of some sort (hairspray, lysol... whatever) and spray it straight on them for a few seconds until they die. Then you know they won't run/jump on you.
Also, beautiful quilt! I'm so impressed!
Well hooray for Charlotte!!!
The quilt is ADORABLE and I love every stitch! You are such an awesome friend, and our baby is going to love it!! Thank you so much!
Hahaha, Laura, I remember when we used to always say that... Good times.
