Is it just me...

Or are the male figure skaters' costumes getting too noticeable because of their brightly colored, highly patterned, and unusual styles? I found pictures of a few of my favorites from last night. I didn't even touch the pairs. One of the many reasons I love the Olympics.

Besides showing some chest, I thought guys weren't supposed to show other skin.

So Crafty

Breanne taught me how to make a flower headband. I felt very domestic. It's been a long time since I've done anything like that. I used to make things for my American Girl doll all the time, but that creativity left me. Maybe I'll start reviving it...

Happy {fill-in} Weekend!

This weekend is full of a lot of events. The best part of all of these is that I get to enjoy them in Arizona!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with the Olympics, Valentine's Day, Arizona's birthday (Feb. 14, 1912) and Presidents' Day.

Makes Me Miss It...

Even though the District is getting pounded with terrible storms, seeing all the photographs and footage makes me really miss it. Plus, I think it's handling snow the right way: cancel everything.

Line Dance

This week in math, my class has been learning about repeating and growing patterns. To reinforce the concept and to add some kinesthetic learning, Danika and I thought it'd be fun to teach our classes a line dance. It turned out to be a blast! I'd say 55 out of the 60 kids loved it. I wish I had video of the event. There's nothing like learning with a little Brooks & Dunn to help out.

Warm & Comfy

These past few mornings it has been an extreme struggle to make my bed. As I'm tucking the sheet and bedspread in, I can feel the warmth I left just a few minutes ago. I want to hop right back in for a couple more hours. I don't think my kids will notice if I show up in my pjs or with my hair going every which way.
