Sending them on
{First day of school, August 2009}
I'm sending on another group of kids to 4th grade. I'm really going to miss this class. They have been my saving grace this year. I hope their teachers next year love them as much as I did.
Some of my favorite quotes:
"Put your back into, C." -K
"Miss Johnson, you look very pretty today." -E
"My underwear is really comfortable today." -T
"Man, use some muscles, J. I'm doing all the work here." -K
Me: "I wanna be a billionaire." Class: "So freakin' bad."
"This is the best book ever." -M
"I'm saving up for college." -C
"That's ok. I can man-handle her." -K
{I love this picture because Jordyn (in front wearing white/pink) is whacking Keaton with her stick. Totally represents their relationship.}
Stop in and say hi next year!

Lucky Day!
I walked through the office today and saw I had a box from Scholastic. Just thinking it was my recent order, I opened it. I immediately noticed the packaging inside was different and there was a letter. I read the letter, and to my surprise, I had won 50 books for completing a 3 minute survey. Things like this never happen to me. Yay! Thank you, Scholastic!

Suns Game via Skype
As you all know, the Phoenix Suns beat the Spurs last night. (What a sweet glory to sweep them!) I was at family dinner for 3/4 of the game yesterday. When I got home, it was the 4th quarter. I called my family to ask them if they were watching. They weren't because they discontinued their cable a couple months ago. Problem? Yes. Solution? Watch the game via Skype. I put my laptop next to the TV, and then everything was taken care. Again, technology is simply wonderful.

O Jerusalem!
It's hard to believe it was 3 years ago to the day that I departed for the Tel Aviv Airport.
{My first picture with the Old City from the Center}
I miss...
The Beautiful Places
The Field Trips
The Old City
{McDonald's is extra tasty outside of America!}
{Western Wall}
{Separation Wall}
{I always looked for the Center. View from the YMCA belltower.}
{We weren't allowed to touch boys, which explains my awkward pose.}
And most of all...
The Center
{99% of my meals were eaten outside on the balcony.}
Hopefully soon.
