It's a Miracle!

I made it home safely, and it's a miracle. As I learned going to and coming from DC, there is nothing better than traveling to the airport using public transportation. Especially when you are by yourself and have 100 lbs. of luggage. (My arms--mainly triceps--were still tired a couple days later.) The best of part of the travels was when I tripped, fell, and hit my head on the escalator down to the Metro. Luckily, my head hit the black rubber that rotates around for the handrail. I laughed so many times. But anyway, it was great once I did get to Baltimore, checked in my bags, boarded the plane, and enjoyed the nonstop flight to Phoenix.

Since being being home, I've seen my family, visited a couple old friends, gone up to our cabin, and finished a book. I highly recommend The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

Pictures from the cabin:
Card games and reading 24/7.

Of course, there's a golf course in the backyard.
And of course, some pictures had to be taken.

Peeking through the window.
Bike rides.

Pictures from my mom's birthday dinner with the family:
Heather and Quinn.
Everyone gets to help open the presents when it's Granna's birthday.
Ava.
"This is what happens when you try to stuff the whole piece of cake in your mouth."
Graham.
Grant.
Dax--he was born on my birthday.

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!

Oh that's too bad about the tripping down the escalator, at least it is a funny story! My sister-in-law just recommended the literary society of Potato pill pie (or whatever it is called) I am excited to read it.

I dont have your email! Sorry! Next week would be perfect! Either Mon or Tues would be great! Ethan usually takes a nap around 12:30-3:30 pm so anytime around then would be great! Let me know what you would like to do. Coming to your house would be really easy for us if it is for you :)

Cute babies! And I'm sorry but your escalator story reminded me too much of our fun skiing stories! Classic!
